Why Routine Cleaning Matters

Hearing aids are small, high-tech tools that work hard every day. Even with good at-home care, professional cleanings are essential to:

Keep sound clear and consistent

Remove debris and buildup that can muffle or distort sound quality

Remove internal moisture and debris

Advanced Redux™ system safely eliminates internal moisture damage

Extend the life of your hearing aids

Regular maintenance significantly increases hearing aid lifespan

Prevent unnecessary repairs or breakdowns

Preventive care avoids expensive manufacturer repairs

If your hearing aids aren't working as well as they used to, we recommend starting with a professional cleaning.

What's Included in a Professional Cleaning

Our cleanings are detailed, safe, and designed to restore your hearing aids to top condition. Each visit includes:

Redux™ Moisture Removal System

Removes internal moisture safely using advanced warm air circulation system

Micro-Vacuuming of Microphones & Vents

Vacuuming clears debris and restores sound quality

Replacement of Disposable Parts

Domes, wax guards, tubing replaced if applicable

Firmware Updates

Software updates applied when available

Listening Check

Sound quality verification to confirm performance

Important Note:

Cleanings are performed by a licensed audiologist or a supervised doctoral student. If you require reprogramming, device counseling, or adjustment of settings, a separate roomed visit is required.

FAQs About Hearing Aid Cleaning & Repair

We recommend professional cleaning every 3 months to maintain optimal performance and extend the life of your devices.

Level I is routine cleaning for well-maintained devices. Level II is for heavily soiled devices or when it's been a long time between cleanings.

Not necessarily. If your devices aren't performing well, we recommend starting with a cleaning first. If further adjustment is needed, we can schedule a roomed visit afterward.
