You don't have to navigate tinnitus alone.
Living with tinnitus can be frustrating, exhausting, confusing, and sometimes isolating. It can be difficult to explain what you're experiencing to someone who hasn't experienced it themselves.
The Northeast Ohio Tinnitus Support Group is a free, community-based group where people living with tinnitus can connect with others who understand, share experiences, learn, and find reliable, evidence-based information and resources.
Whether your tinnitus is new, you've lived with it for years, or you simply want to better understand it, you are welcome here.

What to Expect
This is a support and education group, not a medical appointment. Meetings will offer a combination of peer connection, open conversation, and evidence-based education.
You are welcome to participate in the conversation as much, or as little, as feels comfortable. There is no expectation that you share your personal story.

Practical resources for living well with tinnitus
Guest speakers and professionals on topics relevant to tinnitus and overall well-being
A place to ask questions, learn from others, and discover additional resources
Our hope is simple: that you leave feeling less alone, better informed, more supported, and more hopeful about living well with tinnitus.
A Safe, Supportive Space
Everyone experiences tinnitus differently. Something that has been helpful for one person may not be helpful, or appropriate, for someone else.
We ask participants to approach one another's experiences with kindness, respect, and curiosity rather than judgment.
We also ask that participants respect the privacy of others. Personal experiences shared within the group should remain confidential.
The group is intended for peer support and general education and does not provide individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. When a concern requires individualized care, participants will be encouraged to discuss it with an appropriate healthcare professional.

The Northeast Ohio Tinnitus Support Group is an independent community support group sponsored by Sounds of Life Hearing Center.
Sounds of Life Hearing Center provides financial, administrative, professional, and community-outreach support to help make the group available at no cost to participants.
You do not need to be a patient of Sounds of Life Hearing Center to attend. Participation in the group does not establish a patient-provider relationship, and meetings are not intended to promote a particular treatment, product, or healthcare provider.
Our goal is to create something bigger than a clinical service: a lasting community resource for people throughout Northeast Ohio who are affected by tinnitus.

Who Can Attend?
The group is open to adults living with tinnitus, whether you:
- Recently began experiencing tinnitus
- Have lived with tinnitus for many years
- Are struggling with its impact on sleep, concentration, stress, or everyday life
- Are doing well but would like to connect with others
- Want trustworthy information about tinnitus and available resources
You do not need a diagnosis, referral, or relationship with Sounds of Life Hearing Center to participate.
The Group Is Free. Registration Is Required.
There is no cost to participate, but we ask everyone planning to attend to complete our registration form.
Registration helps us plan for seating, refreshments, educational materials, and communication about upcoming meetings or schedule changes.
